Black Environmental Leaders Association (BEL) are aligned as stewards of the natural and built environment through collaboration and partnership, to raise awareness and advocate for environmental and economic justice.

The Black Environmental Leaders Association is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization. Contributions to BEL are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law (85-2819234).

BEL is committed to not discriminating based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted or funded by BEL (not all bases apply to all programs).
